A RP HPLC method wsa developed for the determination of camptothecine in the fruit of Camptotheca acuminata, using YWG C 18 column and methanol water(6∶4) as the mobile phase with UV detection at 254nm.
采用ＹＷＧＣ１８柱，甲醇水（６∶４）流动相，２５４ｎｍ检测，测定了喜树果实中喜树碱的含量，平均回收率为９８６７％，ＲＳＤ为１７１％（ｎ＝５），并对不同月份采收的喜树果实进行了测定。

| 喜树碱 camptothecin 一种生物碱。分子式C20H16N2O4。存在于中国特有的珙桐科乔木喜树中，也存在于印度产铁青科小灌木马比木中。浅黄色针状晶体。熔点264～267℃(分解)，比旋光度  ＋31.3°（氯仿-甲醇，8∶2）。不易与酸生成结晶盐。喜树碱多用喜树果实作原料制取。1976年中国化学家高怡生等合成消旋喜树碱成功。喜树碱对肠胃道和头颈部癌等有较好的近期疗效，但对少数病人有尿血的副作用。10-羟基喜树碱的抗癌活性超过喜树碱，对肝癌和头颈部癌也有明显疗效 ，而且副作用较少。
