紧急情况下用火箭将乘员牵引离机并安全降落到地面或水面的航空救生设备，又称扬基救生系统。1967年开始用于轻型军用飞机上。牵引救生装置主要组成部分有起动机构、火箭发射器、牵引火箭、牵引绳和降落伞等。牵引救生装置与弹射座椅救生的不同点是，牵引火箭只把飞行员牵引离开座舱，座椅仍留在飞机上。70年代末，牵引救生装置开始用于研究用的直升机上。有些飞机上乘员座位旁没有应急舱门，应急时牵引救生装置必须移动到救生舱门处。首先爆开舱门，再起动牵引装置,多乘员的救生可在同一舱门开口处依次进行,这属于移动式牵引救生装置。牵引救生装置具有构造简单、重量轻、体积小、牵引过载小和稳定性好等优点，适用于轻型军用飞机、直升机和运输机的原型机作空中应急救生，但尚不适用于高速军用飞机的救生。
