又称“多发性神经炎”，为两侧肢体远端对称性多发性的末梢神经变性疾病。常由重金属或化学药物中毒、代谢性疾病、营养障碍、感染、血液循环障碍等多种原因引起。主要表现为肢体远端对称性的运动障碍、感觉障碍以及自主神经功能障碍。可呈急性、亚急性或慢性病程。肌电图、神经传导速度，神经活检和实验室检查有助诊断。针对病因治疗为主，辅以维生素B类、肾上腺皮质激素、理疗、针灸、按摩等。
