性质:人和动物的寄生菌和病原菌。肠细菌科(Enterobacteriaceae)中的一属革兰阴性运动细菌。存在于土壤和污物中。细胞杆状;约(0.3~1.0) ×(1~6) μm。但也产生不规则形状的细胞(包括丝状体)。为兼性厌氧菌,但在缺氧环境下发育不良。在基础培养基(和含氰化钾的培养基)上生长,在20~40℃之间繁殖旺盛。发酵葡萄糖,不发酵乳糖。
