Using physical measurement, nondestructive ultrasonic test and high temperature permanent performance examination, the assessment and prediction was carried out for current conditions and remnant life on reforming tubes of a plant, which uses natural gas as raw materials and adopts steam reforming process to produce synthetic gas and hydrogen.
