| 产地及产期: 分布于长江以南各水系。 | |
| 介绍: 头大宽扁。吻短圆钝。口大，鼻管粗长。形态酷似南鳢。鳞较大，头顶鳞片扩大，不规则，但均较南鳢的为小。背、臀鳍基部长；胸、尾鳍圆形；无腹鳍。体侧具7-9条尖端向前的“人”字形横带，尾鳍基有1黑色眼状斑，全向布满珠色亮点，雄性更显。 适应性强，多栖居于山区溪流，也生活在江河、沟塘等水体。性凶猛，食鱼、虾、水生昆虫。生殖期4-6月。个体不大，体重一般为250g。群众喜爱胜斑鳢。 |
