Ye Zi
叶子
国话剧演员。 原名叶仲寅。生于1911年5月16日。河北大城县人。
叶子出身于高级职员家庭，1928年考入北京女子师范大学文学院国文系，参加进步演剧活动。1935年考入南京国立戏剧学校，参加演出《狄四娘》、《日出》、《威尼斯商人》等戏。她扮演的陈白露、鲍西娅获得好评。
抗日战争爆发后,叶子加入怒潮剧社,演出《前夜》、《放下你的鞭子》等。后至重庆演出了《为自由和平而战》、《中国万岁》等剧。1938年受聘于四川省立戏剧教育实验学校，参加学校附属的表证剧团，与成都剧人社联合演出《秦良玉》、《赛金花》、《名优之死》、《寄生草》等。后又协助熊佛西编辑出版《戏剧岗位》。1941年赴桂林,演出《明末遗恨》、《天国春秋》、《北京人》等。1944年她在“西南剧展”会上扮演《茶花女》中的玛格丽特，受到好评。抗战胜利后，在上海实验戏剧学校教授表演及台词课。后应观众演出公司之聘，在《清宫外史》中扮演慈禧太后。此外还拍摄了影片《大团圆》、《悬崖之恋》。1950年参加北京人民艺术剧院。
叶子的表演真实、质朴,性格鲜明。1953年她在《龙须沟》中出色地创造了劳动妇女丁四嫂，被龙须沟区的群众推选为北京市人民代表。此后,她在《日出》、《明朗的天》、《北京人》、《三姊妹》中创造了各种不同的舞台人物形象。1966年因病告别舞台。1986年参加电视剧《钟鼓楼》的拍摄，任海奶奶一角，获得好评。
叶子在《龙须沟》中饰丁四嫂
叶子为中国戏剧家协会会员，曾任北京人民艺术剧院艺委会委员、北京市文学艺术界联合会理事、北京市一至五届人民代表大会代表。
