  第Ⅷ对颅神经,又称“前庭神经”。神经干分为耳蜗神经与前庭神经两部分。耳蜗神经起自内耳螺旋神经节的双极细胞,周围突终止于内耳柯替器。前庭神经起源于内耳前庭神经节的双极细胞,周围突终止于囊斑及壶腹嵴。可用检查听力、观查眼球震颤和共济失调等来了解听神经的功能。
