性质:该品作抗高血压药用其硫酸盐,有两种硫酸盐:胍乙啶硫酸盐,C10H22N4·0.5H2SO4,[60-02-6],Guanethidine sulfate,溶点276-281℃(分解)。胍乙啶一硫酸盐,C10H22N4·H2SO4,[645-43-2],Guanethidine monosulfate.

制备方法:由环庚亚胺(见C7H5N,[1121-92-2])与邻苯二甲酰溴乙亚胺缩合后水解,得到N-氨乙基环庚亚胺,再与异甲硫脲硫酸盐缩合即得胍乙啶硫酸盐。将环庚亚胺配制成二甲苯溶液,与邻苯二甲酰溴乙亚胺在反应锅内混合。先加入1/3量的碳酸钠,加热蒸去水份,待温度升至138℃回流1h后,降温。加入1/3量的碳酸钠,再蒸去水分,回流2h,加入其余1/3量的碳酸钠,蒸去水分,再升温回流7h。降温至30-40℃,出料,冷至10℃过滤。滤饼用二甲苯洗涤,洗滤液合并,用盐酸萃取7-8次,分出二甲苯。盐酸萃取液加热回流8h,降温至30℃出料,冷至15-20℃过滤。滤液用液碱调pH14,然后用苯萃取8次,用无水碳酸钠脱水6h以上。过滤,滤液常压蒸去苯,再减压蒸馏,收庥90-110℃(1.33kPa)馏分,得N-氨乙基环庚亚胺(C9H20N2)。将 N-氨乙基环康亚胺、异甲基硫脲硫酸盐加入乙醇中加热回流2.5h,即生成胍乙啶硫酸盐,经精制、干燥,即得成品。

用途:该品为抗高血压药。
