性质:又称黑芥子硫苷酸钾,芥子黑(糖)苷,黑芥子苷。熔点127~129℃。旋光度-19°±1°,-17°±1°(c=1cm,水)。存在于十字花科植物几十个属和山柑目中几个科植物中,尤在十字花科芸苔属内的黑芥(black mustard)、白芥(white mustard)种子和辣根(horse radish)的根中含量颇高,前者含有量可达4%左右,故它们可作为芥子苷生物提取的原材料。系是中药芥子的有效成分之一,在生物化学中可作为测定硫葡糖苷酶(thioglucosidase)的活力试剂。也可作为生产祛痰、理气等药物的原料。
