性质:指在燃烧过程中,在热流作用下能发生分解、熔化蒸发、升华、碳化等化学或物理变化,借以消耗热量,阻止火焰传播,能起热保护作用的高分子复合材料。耐烧蚀复合材料包括升华型、熔化型和碳化型,其中后者是以碳纤维增强的酚醛树脂复合材料。根据耐烧蚀材料的相对密度可以分为:高密度耐烧蚀材料,指密度大于1的复合材料,如各种纤维增强塑料;低密度耐烧蚀材料系指以轻质填料为基质,以酚醛、硅橡胶为基体的复合材料。此类耐烧蚀材料在航空航天领域有重要意义。
