    德国发明家,企业家。1884 ~ 1885年他们发明用实心坯的无缝管生产方法。1886年研制成了斜轧穿孔机,被称为曼尼斯曼轧机。1889~1890年建造了周期式轧机,先把钢坯用斜轧穿孔成为荒管,然后在周期式轧机上延伸制造成无缝钢管的方法,称为曼尼斯曼法。
