【性状】
本品为白色片；味苦。
【鉴别】
取本品的细粉适量（约相当于丙硫氧嘧啶0.2g），加乙醇10ml，回流20 分钟，趁热滤过，滤液置水浴上蒸干，残渣照丙硫氧嘧啶项下的鉴别(1)、(2)项试验，显 相同的反应。
【检查】
应符合片剂项下有关的各项规定（附录Ⅰ A）。
【含量测定】
取本品20片，精密称定，研细，精密称取适量（约相当于丙硫氧嘧 啶0.3g），加氢氧化钠试液5ml与水50ml，加热使丙硫氧嘧啶溶解后，放冷至室温，照 丙硫氧嘧啶项下的方法，自“加酚酞指示液2 滴”起，依法测定。每1ml硝酸汞滴定液 (0.05mol/L) 相当于17.02mg的C7H10N2OS 。
