性质:由利迪链霉菌PA-5726(Streptomyces ly-dicus PA-5726)产生的半乳糖苷亚磺酸加成物dewex-2x8(OH-)水解获得。白色无定形粉末(半水合物)。熔点94~98℃。有变旋现象,水溶液放置24h后,旋光度由+85.6°下降到+77.8°。在酸性、中性条件下稳定,碱性条件下不稳定。与盐酸-甲醇反应脱水生成吡啶衍生物,也是一种半乳糖苷酶竞争性抑制剂。
