| 红花 Carthamus tinctorius 菊科的一种，中国各地普遍栽培。1年生草本，叶互生，卵形或披针形，两面光滑无毛，边缘有刺齿。头状花序，全部为两性的管状花，花冠橘红色，含红花素，可作纺织用的红色染料。花又可作通经药，有破血、活血、消肿止痛的作用，主治妇女月经不调。种子可以榨油，是一种重要的油料作物，连萼瘦果含油量34％～55％。红花种子油中含有较高的亚油酸，有降低血脂及血清胆固醇、软化和扩张动脉、防止动脉粥样硬化、增加血液循环、调节心脏和老化了的内分泌系统的效果。红花种子油也是良好的工业和医药用油。 |
