| 脊髓灰质炎 poliomyelitis 由脊髓灰质炎病毒引起的急性传染病。因常引起小儿的弛缓性瘫痪，故又称小儿麻痹症。1954年美国科学家Q.索尔克发现造成脊髓灰质炎的病毒，研制出皮下注射疫苗，后A.萨宾研制成功可终生免疫的口服疫苗。该病毒属微小核糖核酸病毒科肠道病毒属。有Ⅰ、  、 3个血清型，3型之间有一定的交叉免疫反应，但不完全，因此应用疫苗预防时，必须3型都用；又由于3个型别的病毒在肠道中繁殖时可互相干扰，因此3个型别的疫苗应当分3次服用，每次间隔6～8周。病毒主要通过粪-口传播，侵入人体后主要在淋巴结及血中繁殖，仅1％～2％能侵入中枢神经系统，故绝大多数病人表现为顿挫型（类似感冒），病毒侵入神经系统后则可引起无菌性脑膜炎，也可引起瘫痪，少数病人可遗留瘫痪后遗症。口服减毒活疫苗的预防效果很好，如果小儿能普遍服用即可控制该病。疫苗为活疫苗，须冷冻保存。 |
