性质描述: 无色油状液体。熔点-34℃,沸点365.812℃。相对密度(20、4℃)0.811,折光率(nD20)1.449。熔于醇和醚,微溶于甲醇,易溶于非极性溶剂,极微溶于水。有氨的气味,呈碱性。

生产方法: 以正辛醇为原料,在三氯化铝催化剂存在下进行氨化。反应在缩合釜中进行,将氨通入釜中,在400℃反应。然后赶除过剩的正辛醇,滤除催化剂,即得成品三辛胺。原料消耗(kg、t)正辛醇 1217三氧化铝 685

用途: 用作贵金属萃取剂。在冶金工业中,用来萃取分离钴;镍;锕系和镧系元素。
