【植物形态】
植物形态：多年生草本，茎高达60厘米。粗大，呈圆形，上部呈叉状分枝。根生叶和茎下部叶具叶柄，基部宽展呈广卵状长圆形的叶；叶片膜质，圆形至广卵形，三出二回或三回羽状分裂，第一回裂片有叶柄，卵圆形，第二回裂片有短柄，或近于无柄，卵行，最后裂片呈棱状倒卵形。花白色，顶生复伞形花序，萼5片，花瓣5，雄蕊5枚；子房下位，2室。双悬果卵圆形，背棱和中棱呈线状，侧棱具窄翅。 生态分布：产我国中部至南部各省；多生于沟谷林边湿地或灌丛下。 药用部分：根入药，春初或秋季采收。 用途：性味苦，微寒。根有解热，镇咳，祛痰的功效，通常治疗风热咳嗽，涕唾稠粘，痰稠喘满及呕逆等症。用量：1钱5分~3钱。
