彦节(宗杲禅师法嗣)。黄彦节，字节夫，号妙德。于大慧一喝下疑情顿脱，慧以衣付之。尝举首山竹篦话，至叶县近前夺得，拗折掷向阶下，曰：“是甚么？”山曰：“瞎节。”曰：“妙德到这里，百色无能但记得。”曾作蜡梅绝句曰：“拟嚼枝头蜡，惊香却肖兰。前村深雪里，莫作岭梅看。”
合赞曰：“刘子羽绿杨系马，黄节夫深雪岭梅，赵州柏树话，首山竹篦话，且将这一络索分付来日，待心空瞌睡起来，再商量看。”
