性质：涂敷于烧伤创面上的高分子材料，用以帮助维持体液平衡，防止电解质、蛋白质、体液等丢失以及创面感染。如氧化乙烯-氧化丙烯共聚物，温度升高即成为固体凝胶，遇冷能成为液体。将此液体涂在烧伤创面上，使其渗入创面组织，在体温的作用下，固化为人工皮。该水凝胶的含水量可达80%，可加工硝酸银灭菌，加入硫酸新霉素和维生素A以预防感染和促进新皮再生。另如亲水性有机玻璃和聚乙二醇组成的水凝胶，也是一种贴附性能较好的烧伤敷料，在未切痂前即可使用。
