合体滋养细胞
当胚胎第5～6孕周时，覆盖胚胎表面的绒毛上皮分为内层与外层，外层为合体滋养层；内层为细胞滋养层，前者为连续，长形细胞组成，细胞界限不清，细胞核扁平而深染。后者细胞正方形，界限清楚，胞浆透明。合体滋养细胞的功能主要是可合成各种激素和酶。这些激素和酶在参与妊娠期母体变化中起重要作用。
