性质:又称爱姆斯试验。是一种最常用的检测化学物质致突变性/致癌性的短期试验方法。为Ames等在20世纪60年代建立的,利用组氨酸营养缺陷型鼠伤寒沙门氏菌的回复突变特性,以检测化学物质的致突变性/致癌性;用不同株的鼠伤寒沙门氏菌可以检测碱基对置换或移码突变。在测试系统中加入微粒体酶活化系统(S9组分),以检测需经生物活化才具有致突变性的化学物质。爱姆斯试验与致癌性有较好地相关。
