性质:奥氏体不锈钢在高温水、氦气和液态金属钠等介质中具有良好的耐腐蚀性能和适当的高温强度,加工工艺成熟,但因其热中子吸收截面较大,在热中子堆中只能作为浓缩铀燃料的包壳。在快中子增殖堆中,大多数采用不锈钢包壳的氧化物燃料。在所选定的工作温度范围内,不锈钢包壳材料与冷却剂钠能够相容,而且成本低。
