硫化钾化学式K2S·5H2O，分子量200.33，无色透明或浅黄色结晶。有潮解性。在空气中能逐渐氧化变质。溶于水，水溶液显碱性，溶于乙醇和甘油，不溶于醚。60℃时溶于结晶水中，无水物熔点840℃，密度1.805g/cm3。应密封保存。多用于分析试剂，可用于脱毛剂、杀虫剂、制药工业。
