性质:由纯溶剂通过半透膜渗入溶液或由稀溶液渗入浓溶液的扩散过程称为渗透作用。渗透现象与生物的成长过程和生命活动都有密切关系。恰好能阻止溶液中渗透作用继续进行而达到该动态平衡时所具有的静水压就称为溶液的渗透压(osmotic pressure)。渗透压随浓度、温度的变化而改变。对于渗透压不等的两种溶液,高的一方称高渗溶液(hyperosmotic solution; hypertonic solution),低的一方称低渗溶液(hypoosmotic solution; hypotonic solution);渗透压相等的两种溶液则称等渗溶液(isoosmotic solution)。
