yuQn yUyQn源语言(sour〔elangUage)用于书写源程序的语言。源程序是翻译程序的输人程序。 在计算机发展的早期，人们直接用计算机可理解的字位码或机器语言来编写程序，但这种程序要涉及到各种复杂的计算机指令，数据格式及单元地址之类具体细节，编程序步骤繁琐、费时、易出差错，且难以阅读理解。这样，就提出了汇编语言(即地址部分符号化的机器语言)及各种商级语言，用这种语言写的程序称为源程序，但必须用这样或那样的翻译程序把它们翻译成等价的可直接被计算机接受的机器语言程序。幸好，这种翻译工作可让机器自身来做，即计算机通过翻译程序来完成从源程序到相应的机器语言程序(即目标程序)的翻译工作，其中汇编语言程序的翻译工作由汇编程序来完成;高级语言程序的翻译工作由编译程序来完成。 (陈洒生)
