【形态学】(morphology)研究高分子在结晶区和无定形区中的排列、形状和结构的学科。聚合物可分为无定形的和结晶形的两类,但结晶往往不完整,可看作结晶区和无定形区的混合物或有缺陷和位错的结晶。正常条件下能结晶的高聚物有规则的构型。有大侧基和不规则构型的高分子往往不易或只能局部结晶。从较稀溶液结晶时可得片状单晶。链分子垂直于片晶面,但片晶厚度远小于分子长度,故有折叠结构。每一折叠长度并不一律,也可能有不相邻的折叠,如配电盘型。从浓溶液或熔体结
