| 严良堃(1923～ ) 中国指挥家 。湖北武昌人。1938年参加抗日救亡歌咏的指挥活动 。1942年入重庆国立音乐院学习作曲和指挥。1947年毕业后任香港中华音乐院教务主任 。1949年入中央音乐学院任教并担任合唱指挥。1952年任中央歌舞团指挥。1954年赴苏联莫斯科音乐学院学习指挥 。1958年毕业回国任中央乐团指挥 ，1982年兼任中央乐团团长。1979年任中国音乐家协会第三届常务理事。1985年被选为音协副主席，中国文联常务理事。他曾指挥《黄河大合唱》在国民党统治区首演，1948年他指挥了马思聪《祖国大合唱》、《春天大合唱》，黄自《长恨歌》等作品。1964年任音乐舞蹈史诗《东方红》的指挥组长 。他指挥L.van贝多芬《第九(合唱)交响曲》在中国的首次公演，还指挥了许多西方交响曲和乐队作品的演出，并使被遗忘的作品获得新生。
