性质:内源性的类吗啡肽,由5个氨基酸组成。在脑中已发现有两种:甲硫氨酸脑啡肽(met-nekephalin)和亮氨酸脑啡肽(leu-enkephalin)。自脑、垂体、肠中分离而得的一类有吗啡样活性的神经多肽。目前发现的脑啡肽有两种:(1)甲硫氨酸脑啡肽,H-Tyr-Gly-Gly-Phe-Met-OH。类白色粉末。以L-酷氨酸、甘氨酸、苯丙氨酸、甲硫氨酸为原料制取;(2)亮氨酸脑啡肽H-Tyr-Gly-Gly-Phe-Leu-OH。脑啡肽在脑内合成,并在脑内与吗啡受体相伴而存在。它们的镇痛效果约为吗啡的1/19—1/65。其镇痛作用能被吗啡拮抗剂纳络酮所对抗。脑啡肽可能是一类对痛觉传导起抑制的神经递质。
