性质:细菌细胞受某些DNA病毒感染后,宿主细胞染色体的一小部分可共价结合到病毒DNA上,随病毒一起进行复制,因而可参入子代病毒颗粒DNA中,当这些病毒感染其他细胞时,病毒DNA把第一个细胞染色体的一部分带到第二个细胞的染色体内。这种以病毒(在细菌中为噬菌体)为媒介将宿主细胞的基因从一个细胞转移到另一个细胞的现象称为转导,被转导的宿主细胞基因称为转、导基因或转导子,带有转导子的噬菌体称为转导噬菌体,转导是天然的基因重组过程。可用于绘制细菌的染色体图。
