| 文冠果 Xanthoceras sorbifolia；shiny-leavedy ellowhorn 无患子科文冠果属落叶灌木或小乔木。又称文灯果。原产中国北方干旱寒冷地区。宁夏、甘肃、陕西、内蒙古、东北各省和华北北部均有野生天然林或零星树木分布。也见于朝鲜。
文冠果是单种属。野生种的花色、花型、花序长短、心皮数、果型、枝条色泽等都有显著形态变化。奇数羽状复叶，总状花序。蒴果绿色，圆、扁或长形。种子球形，黑褐色，种仁白色。性极耐寒，较耐旱，对土壤要求不严。中国北纬49°30′地区也能正常生长，但夏季高温多雨地区生长不良。宜从实生苗中选优良单株，培育着果率高的植株，用扦插或高接换种等法繁殖扩大无性系 。种子可食用 ，且含油率达33.7％，富含油酸和亚油酸。油可食用，工业上可作润滑油、增塑剂、油漆和肥皂的原料。 |
