Rickettsia
天然寄生在某些节肢动物体内并以之为媒介进行传播,是引起斑疹伤寒等传染病的病原体,并为纪念为科学试验而献身的Taylor Richetts医生而定名。大小为0.3~0.6nm,呈杆状和双球杆状,革兰染色阴性,以二分裂方式繁殖,易被广谱抗生素抑制,呈专性细胞内寄生,含RNA及DNA两种核酸。分流行性及地方性两种,其多糖类抗原与变形杆菌OX19、OX2及OXk有交叉凝集反应。
