发生在胃平滑肌的一种恶性肿瘤。瘤体可突向胃腔形成肿块，也可向胃腔和胃外同时突出，形成哑铃状或位于浆膜下或胃壁内。肿瘤可因组织缺血而致坏死、溃疡、穿孔或形成瘘管。病变可向周围组织扩散，但很少转移，临床表现缺乏特征性症状，体检可发现贫血，上腹部肿块，并有压痛，X线检查可见充盈缺损。手术切除为唯一有效的疗法。
