由二流体模型,液HeⅡ中由无熵的超流成分和温度T≠0K时呈现有熵的正常成分两部分组成。A,B是两个装有HeⅡ的容器,底部用很细的毛细管C相连接。开始时A和B的液面高度一样且它们的温度也相同。然后在A上加压,不载熵的超流成分通过C流入B,而正常成分有黏滞仍保留在A中,致使单位体积的熵在A中增大,而在B中减小,在绝热条件下,A的温度将升高,B的温度将下降,造成有温差ΔT,这就是HeⅡ的机械热效应。
