与遗传变异有关的一种疾病,呈常染色体显性遗传。杂合子可以发病,但不少种不稳定血红蛋白病人无明确的家族史。由于可能是遗传变异,自发基因突变,血红蛋白肽链上氨基酸的替换和丢失,使血红蛋白容易被氧化而引起慢性溶血性贫血。临床特征有红细胞赫恩小体和暗褐色尿。感染和/或使用氨喹型药物等可加重溶血,甚至发生溶血危象,并常伴有明显的贫血。无特效治疗方法,重点在预防感染和禁用伯氨喹啉型药物。
