以供体的肝脏通过机械法或酶消化法获取游离的肝细胞,将有活性的肝细胞经直接注射或脾动脉注入等方法植入受体脾脏内,进行肝细胞脾内移植。在脾脏内建立第二肝脏、肝化脾,以替代部分肝脏行使功能。动物实验和临床初步观察证实,移植在脾内的肝细胞具有降低血清胆红素,参与糖、脂肪和蛋白质代谢等功能,为治疗终末肝病、先天性代谢肝病及急性或暴发性肝衰等提供了新的方法。但目前脾内肝细胞移植还存在某些问题,如肝细胞在脾内增殖数量有限问题等,尚需进一步研究解决。
