高州高凉岭旅游区
从高州城出发，沿石骨河北行20公里，可见一座耸入苍穹的雄伟大山，这便是风光如画的高凉岭。据《高州府志》记载，此山“本名高梁，以群峰高耸，盛暑如秋，故更名高凉”。它集奇山、怪石、佳果于一岭，向来是游览胜地。
高凉岭以它秀丽的风光闻名遐迩。从山脚拾级逶迤而上，石径如带如练，两旁藤萝牵衣，野花夹道，四面松涛呼呼作响，令人心旷神怡。山腰上，有一座金碧辉煌的古刹，这便是冼夫人庙，香火鼎盛，成为我市一个著名的宗教旅游景点。
高凉岭石多且怪。有二人下棋的仙奕石，形似母猪的猪乸石，欲跃龙门的鲤鱼石，引颈啼晓的金鸡石。有的石如金牛戏水，双狮对耍，白鹤飞天。还有石鼓、石船、石池、石床、石桌等等。其中特别引人注目的要数试剑石，此石长约三丈，高达丈余，形似猪腰，中间裂为两半，裂缝处整齐如切。当地传说云：“冼夫人当年曾戌兵高凉，为振军威，以剑劈石，故成此状。”试剑石因此而得名。
高凉岭背北向南处，有一片方圆数十亩的绿色林海。各种树木，混杂其间。树根下，石隙间，有潺潺流水，淙淙作响。昔日的僧人，曾在冼太庙旁截水为池，并种夏荷，养金龟，名曰“放生池”。如今，此池尚存水清如镜。林海中，四时佳果，摘之不完。其中栗子最引人喜爱，它的果实浑身长刺，收获时砸开其外壳，取黄色果仁，用以炖鸡，味道清香可口，是健身延年之佳品。
