杨茂造款观瀑图剔红八方盘 盘中间八方开光，刻长松殿闭。阁右一老人临曲槛，眺望对山流瀑，阁内外各一童子。天，水和地，都用锦地刻成。盘旁刻以仰俯花朵组成的图案。盘底黑漆，足边有“杨茂造针”划款。但底上另有刀刻填金“大明宣德年制”款，系后刻。杨茂遗作，在北京故宫博物院还藏有“剔红花卉渣斗”一件。表面朱色，涂漆约五六十层，颈部雕缠枝式秋葵，腹部雕盛开及半开山茶花。两组花纹均分别构成二方连续图案围绕器身，形象较写实，刀刻不深，但打磨功夫极精到，着刀处不露锋棱。以上两件，均系杨茂雕漆代表作。
