受精卵植入子宫内膜后一周左右,受卵巢内分泌孕激素的影响,分泌期子宫内膜更加增厚,血管充盈,间质细胞高度肥大,腺体增大、弯曲,并有高度分泌活性,富于营养,称为蜕膜。按蜕膜与受精卵的部位关系,将蜕膜分为:①底蜕膜〓位于受精卵与子宫肌层之间的蜕膜,日后发育成为胎盘的母体部分;②包蜕膜〓覆盖在受精卵表面的蜕膜,并随受精卵发育增大而逐渐凸向子宫腔部分。由于这部分蜕膜高度伸展,缺乏营养而逐渐退化,约在妊娠12周,包蜕膜与真蜕膜相贴近,子宫腔消失,以后两层融合而成为胎膜外层的一部分;③真蜕膜(壁蜕膜)〓底蜕膜和包蜕膜以外覆盖子宫腔表面的蜕膜。详见附图。
