正常人平静呼吸时,每分钟呼吸的次数。成人每分钟呼吸为16~20次;新生儿每分钟约44次,随年龄的增长而减少。呼吸与脉搏的比例为1∶4。呼吸频率增快,可见于强体力活动,发热、疼痛、贫血、甲状腺功能亢进、心功能不全等。呼吸频率减慢见于颅内压增高、镇静剂过量等。
