The present study was to investigate the inhibition of the bioactive components of Allium chinense to cervical cancer Hela cells and human gastric cancer cell line BGC-823 in vitro, its effect on the sensitivity of Hela and BGC-823 cells to 5-FU, and its protection for the immunological function of mice against the toxicity of 5-FU.
