To investigate the NSP4 gene of human rotavirus from neonates in Ningbo area and to explore its genetic characteristics and hereditary trend of development,the dsRNA of rotavirus from stool samples was detected by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and the NSP4 gene from 4 epidemic strains was amplified by RT-PCR.

rotavirus enteritis
由轮状病毒侵袭肠黏膜引起的炎症病变。轮状病毒是引起“秋季腹泻”的主要病毒,其多发于秋季,以10~11月份为高潮。临床特点为起病急,早期出现呕吐,多合并上呼吸道感染症状,发热,腹胀明显,大便为水样、稀薄、色淡,有时呈白色米汤样或蛋花汤样,黏液少,少有腥臭味。镜检脓细胞很少见,脱水征较明显,抗生素治疗无效,多在5~7日内自然痊愈。
