化学式KCN。无色立方晶体;熔点634.5℃,密度1.52克/厘米3;剧毒。氰化钾易潮解,能溶于水,每100克水在25℃时能溶解71.6克。电解熔融的氰化钾,在阴极得到钾,阳极放出氰气。用硫酸与氰化钠反应制得氢氰酸,用氢氧化钾中和,再浓缩即得氰化钾。氰化钾主要用来制备腈,腈是耐纶生产的中间体。
