According to the characteristics and English studying state of military solider students,the paper discusses how to teach English vocabulary from the perspective of cognition,paying attention to the basic category vocabulary and foster their metaphor thinking and making use of it remembering polysemous words.
结合军校战士学员自身的特点和英语学习的现状,从认知的角度出发,重视基本范畴词汇教学,培养战士学员的隐喻思维,利用隐喻巧妙记忆多义词,以此来探讨词汇教学。
