    测定视觉屈光不正的性质、度数和轴向的方法。分为主观验光法和客观验光法两种:①主观验光法,又称显然验光法。主要靠被检者自己的主观感觉来决定屈光不正的性质和程度,眼在调节状态下将镜片放在患者眼前,根据视力进步的情况,决定适宜的镜片。先试球镜片。若只用球镜片视力矫正的不满意时可再加柱镜片,并转动柱镜来决定轴向及度数,至视力矫正满意为止。②客观验光法,又称检影验光法。检查前用睫状肌麻痹药散瞳,在暗室中,检查者与患者相对而坐,相距1米,嘱患者注视正前方,检查者来回摇动检影镜,观察瞳孔中央光影的形态、亮度、移动速度及其与检影镜摆动方向的关系,当影动与镜动方向一致时为顺动,以凸球镜矫正之。反之,如为逆动,以凹镜片矫正之,直至光影不动为止  。检影如为顺动,则可能为远视、正视或小于-1.0D的近视,如为逆动则为大于- 1.0D的近视,如为不动则为-1.0D的近视。光影大而圆者见于单纯远视或近视,如呈现一光带则为散光。散光带顺动者,用凸球镜片或凸柱镜片矫正,散光带为逆动者以凹球或凹柱镜片矫正,柱镜片的轴向与散光带的方向一致,此即为散光的轴向,在1米处检影折合屈光度为-1.0D,它与检影所得屈光度的代数和即为患眼的实际屈光度。
