【Objective】 To explore the character of cognitive development for basic emotional expressions in normal infants.

Design and development on human head imitation portrait robotic system with vision and facial expression;

Methods: Different facial expression video slices of happiness, sadness, surprising, fear, anger, disgust at three levels of intensity and neutral (including non-emotional and chewing) were recorded.

Teachers may use some facial expressions,gestures and body movement to make their teaching more acceptable and more understandable.

However, with the limitation of students’ vocabulary, teachers have to simplify their teaching language with the help of facial expressions and body movements, In this article, the possibility and the effect of using body language in listening, speaking, reading and writing will be further discussed.

However, in actual person-to-person interactions people usually neglect the communicative functions of facial expressions and their differences between cultures, and consequently fail to communicate efficiently.
