更年期高血压
绝经期开始，卵巢逐渐退化，各种促性腺激素过度活跃，肾上腺髓质活动增加，神经系统不稳定，容易冲动。血压往往在绝经前期始增高，波动性较大。常随精神紧张或劳动强度增加而发生症状性高血压，尤以收缩压上升为明显，脉压增大，可有头痛，头昏等症状。雌激素治疗后，高血压即可消失；如不消失，应作进一步检查，除外其他原因引起的高血压病。
