【来源】
为牡蛎科动物近江牡蛎等的肉。动物形态详"牡蛎"条。
【化学成分】
近江牡蛎与大连湾牡蛎肉含糖元63.55%,牛磺酸1.3%,10种必需氨酸1.3%,无机盐(铜、锌、锰、钡、磷、钙)17.6%,谷胱甘肽,维生素A、B1、B2、D及F(即亚麻酸和亚油酸)。含碘1~11.53ppm(干重)。脂类中含一种糖脂,其糖由二分子葡萄糖和一分子岩藻糖构成。另有一种鞘类磷脂,含糖(葡萄糖、阿拉伯糖、岩藻糖)22.0%,氨基己糖7.26%,甲基戊糖10.45%,磷0.47%。另报道长牡蛎的脂类物质中含甾醇,它的氢化产物似为菜子甾醇。
【性味】
甘咸,平。 ①《纲目》:"甘,温,无毒。" ②《医林纂要》:"甘咸,微寒。" ③《随息居饮食谱》:"甘,平。"
【功用主治】
滋阴养血。治烦热失眠,心神不安,丹毒。 ①崔禹锡《食经》:"治夜不眠,志意不定。" ②《本草拾遗》:"煮食,主虚损,妇人血气,调中,解丹毒。于姜醋中生食之,主丹毒,酒后烦热,止渴。" ③《医林纂要》:"清肺补心,滋阴养血。"
【宜忌】
①《七卷食经》:"有癞疮不可食。" ②《本草求原》:"脾虚精滑忌。"
