性质:矫治错胎牙齿时采用的安放在口内或口外的一种装置。按结构分有活动矫治器和固定矫治器;按力的来源分有机械性矫治器和功能性矫治器。制作矫治器的材料有高分子材料、合金材料和陶瓷材料等。其中高分子材料中的甲基丙烯酸甲酯树脂可制作基托、颌垫、导板等;高强度透明塑料可作托槽;乳胶或合成橡胶弹力圈附加在矫治器中,产生使牙移动的牵引力;各种粘固用水门汀,可用来粘固带及各种附件。合金材料可制作各式金属托槽及金属附件。生物陶瓷材料可制作托槽,强度高且美观。
