Applying microwave hyperthermia in limb salvage surgery for malignant bone tumor of extremities

Methods Limb salvage surgery was performed in 26 patients with proximal tibial malignant tumors.

Methods:Collecting a serial of consecutive 22 cases of proximal humerus osteosarcoma form 1992,two groups were divied into randomly,according to clinical persentation,radiological features and patients demanding,that included amputation group and limb salvage group.

Objecttive To evaluate the clinical effectiveness of limb salvage surgery combined with new adjuvant chemotherapy for extremity osteosarcoma.

Objective To evaluate the values of transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE)for malignant limbs bone tumors before limb-sparing operation and the influence of TACE on operation.
